Cash Bandits 2 is the middle chapter of SpinLogic's heist trilogy: masked robbers, a getaway car, a police officer with a torch, and a bank vault that holds the bonus. It is still in the Fair Go catalogue alongside its newer sibling, Cash Bandits 3, and plenty of Aussies prefer the sequel to the threequel.
Fair Go publishes feature details for Cash Bandits 3 but not for Cash Bandits 2, so this review describes the theme and style, points you to the in-game info panel for numbers, and explains how to launch and bonus it.

The Cash Bandits family
The series is built on one idea: a vault bonus where you pick codes to unlock free games and multipliers. Fair Go describes the third game's version as a vault bonus worth up to 390 free games with x23 multipliers and a progressive jackpot. Cash Bandits 2 introduced the vault concept in a simpler form, but Fair Go has not published its figures, so we will not guess them.
| Game | What Fair Go publishes |
|---|---|
| Cash Bandits 2 | Title and theme only |
| Cash Bandits 3 | 25 paylines, vault bonus up to 390 free games with x23 multipliers, 115,000-coin top award, progressive jackpot |
Theme and style
Cash Bandits 2 has the cartoon-noir look that SpinLogic does well: a night-time city, a bank facade, stacks of cash and the two robbers who serve as the game's mascots. The cop symbol tends to be the one that leads into the feature. Animations are punchy and the soundtrack is a jazzy chase theme.
It is faster and more feature-driven than classics like Cleopatra's Gold, which is why it still draws players despite the sequel.
How to play Cash Bandits 2 at Fair Go
- Log in through the browser on any device. No app required.
- Search "Bandits" in the lobby; both games appear, so pick the one labelled 2.
- Run the demo. Watch for how the vault feature triggers and read the info panel for the official rules.
- Switch to real money and size your bet to your budget.
Bonus codes that suit it
- WELCOME: 100% up to $200, five times, min $20, 30x wagering on deposit plus bonus. The sensible starting point.
- BUSHMAGIC: 200% plus 25 free spins, min $60. The free spins land on Kev's Bush Bonanza, but the match funds can be played on Cash Bandits 2.
- KD- codes: Fair Go's Koala's Diary rotates weekly codes; some are tied to specific games, so check whether Cash Bandits 2 features in a given week.
If you play the sequel for its jackpot instead, note that bonus funds are often excluded from progressive play. Read the terms.
Should you play 2 or 3?
If you want documented features and a progressive jackpot, Cash Bandits 3 is the obvious pick. If you like the original vault pacing and a slightly simpler screen, Cash Bandits 2 holds up. Many players keep both in their favourites and alternate. The demos are free, so try each before committing real money.
