If you have been hunting for a Fair Go casino app download for Australia, stop searching the app stores: there is no native Fair Go app for Android or iPhone, and anything calling itself one is not official. Fair Go is deliberately a browser-based casino, and this page explains what that means, how to get an app-like experience in thirty seconds, and why the "android app" files floating around the web should be avoided.
We would rather tell you this plainly than send you down a rabbit hole. rocketplay6.net is an independent review site; we earn a commission if you sign up through our links.

Why there is no Fair Go casino app
Two reasons, and both are practical. First, Apple and Google impose strict rules on real-money gambling apps, generally requiring the operator to hold a licence in the country where the app is offered. Fair Go holds a Curaçao licence and no Australian one, so it cannot list an app in the Australian App Store or Google Play. Second, SpinLogic's games are built in HTML5 and run perfectly in a browser, so an app would add maintenance and update headaches without improving the games.
The result is a web app: the mobile site adapts to your screen, remembers your login, and can be pinned to your home screen. For almost everything a player does, it is functionally the same as an app.
Fair Go casino app download for Android: what people find instead
Search for "fair go casino android app" and you will see APK download sites offering a file to sideload. Do not install them. There is no official APK, so any file is at best a wrapper around the website (pointless) and at worst malware designed to capture your login and card details. Android warns you when installing apps from unknown sources for exactly this reason.
Signs that a Fair Go "app" is not legitimate:
- It is hosted on a third-party APK site rather than Google Play.
- It asks for permissions unrelated to playing, such as reading your SMS or contacts.
- It promises an "app-only" bonus that does not appear on the Fair Go promotions page.
- The developer name is not the casino's operating company.
If you have already installed one, uninstall it, change your Fair Go password through the official site, and run a security scan.
How to set up the Fair Go web app in under a minute
| Platform | Steps | Result |
|---|---|---|
| iPhone / iPad | Open the site in Safari, tap Share, tap Add to Home Screen, tap Add | Full-screen icon on your home screen, no address bar |
| Android | Open the site in Chrome, tap the three-dot menu, tap Add to Home screen or Install, confirm | Icon in your app drawer and home screen |
| Desktop (Chrome / Edge) | Click the install icon in the address bar or use the browser menu, then Install | Opens in its own window like a desktop app |
Once installed, tap the icon, log in, and you are in the lobby. Everything syncs with your account, so a bonus claimed on your laptop shows on your phone. Our mobile casino guide has step-by-step detail for each device.
Web app versus native app: what you gain and lose
| Feature | Fair Go web app | Typical native casino app |
|---|---|---|
| Install size | Nothing to download | 50 MB or more |
| Updates | Automatic, every visit | Manual store updates |
| Games | Full 280+ pokie library | Often a subset |
| Login | Same credentials everywhere | Same |
| Push notifications | No; email and casino inbox instead | Yes |
| Face ID / fingerprint | Via your password manager | Built in |
| Risk of fake versions | Low if you bookmark the real domain | Fake APKs common |
The practical losses are push alerts and a built-in biometric login. Both are easily worked around: let your password manager handle Face ID or fingerprint unlock, and watch your email for the Koala's Diary codes and the VIP Thursday offers.

Compare that with RocketPlay, which also runs without a dedicated app in Australia; our RocketPlay app page explains its setup.
Responsible gambling
An icon on your home screen makes the casino as easy to open as a messaging app, and that convenience cuts both ways. If you find yourself opening it without deciding to, move the icon off your main screen or delete it, and set a deposit limit inside your account. Frequently asked questions
No. Fair Go does not offer a native app on the App Store or Google Play, and there is no official APK. The casino runs as a web app in your phone's browser. Add the site to your home screen for a full-screen, app-style experience with the full game library.
No official Android app or APK exists. Files offered on third-party download sites are not from Fair Go and may contain malware. Use Chrome on Android, open the site, and choose Add to Home screen from the menu to get an installable shortcut that works like an app.
Yes. Open Safari, go to the Fair Go site, and log in. All games, the cashier and live chat work in the browser. Tapping Share then Add to Home Screen creates an icon that opens the casino full-screen, which is as close to an app as you can get on iOS.
Yes. Because it is the same website, the web app includes the full library: 280+ SpinLogic pokies, blackjack, roulette, poker variants, baccarat, craps, keno, scratch cards and video poker. Nothing is held back for a separate app, because there is no separate app.
No. Browser-based play does not send push alerts. Promotional codes such as Koala's Diary entries, VIP Thursday offers and the no-deposit free spins arrive by email and in your casino inbox, so keep an eye on both.
It uses the same 128-bit SSL connection as the desktop site. The main risk is landing on a fake domain, so bookmark the real site after your first login and let a password manager handle autofill. Never sideload an APK claiming to be the Fair Go app.
