If you are searching for the RocketPlay app, here is the short version: there is no native RocketPlay app on the Apple App Store or Google Play. RocketPlay runs as a mobile web app that loads in Safari or Chrome, and the only "install" is adding a shortcut to your home screen. The same is true of Fair Go and most casinos that accept Australian players.
This page explains how mobile play actually works at RocketPlay, why you should ignore any APK file claiming to be the official app, and how Fair Go's browser-based mobile casino compares. rocketplay6.net is an independent review site, not RocketPlay, not a mirror and not Fair Go. We earn a commission on Fair Go sign-ups through our links.

Why there is no RocketPlay app to download
Apple and Google both restrict real-money casino apps to operators licensed in specific jurisdictions, and Australia is not one where offshore casino apps are permitted. RocketPlay holds a Curaçao licence, so it cannot list an app for Australian users. Instead it builds its site as a responsive web app: open the RocketPlay address in your phone browser and the lobby, cashier and live chat adapt to the screen.
Reviews consistently describe RocketPlay's mobile site as working well on iOS and Android with the full 3,600-game library available. The practical difference from a native app is small: no icon in your app drawer unless you add one yourself, and no push notifications.
How to use RocketPlay on your phone
- Open the current official RocketPlay address in Safari (iPhone) or Chrome (Android). Use your registration email or RocketPlay support to confirm the address; our RocketPlay login guide explains the numbered-mirror issue.
- Log in with your usual email and password.
- To create an app-style icon: in Safari tap Share then Add to Home Screen; in Chrome tap the three-dot menu then Add to Home screen.
- Play from the icon. It opens the site full-screen without the browser bar.
Your account, balance and bonuses are identical on mobile and desktop because it is the same website.
Fake RocketPlay apps and APK files
Because there is no official app, anything presenting itself as "RocketPlay app download" or "RocketPlay APK" is third-party at best and malicious at worst. A sideloaded APK can harvest your login, intercept card details or install adware. Our advice:
- Never install a casino APK from a forum, Telegram channel or search ad.
- Never enter your RocketPlay or bank details into an app you did not get from the casino's own site, and RocketPlay does not distribute one.
- If you have installed one, uninstall it, change your casino password from the genuine website and check your card statements.
This advice applies equally to Fair Go, which also has no native app; see our Fair Go app page for the details.
RocketPlay mobile vs Fair Go mobile
| Feature | RocketPlay | Fair Go |
|---|---|---|
| Native app | No | No |
| Mobile browser play | Yes, iOS and Android | Yes, iOS and Android |
| Game library on mobile | 3,600+ including live dealer | 280+ pokies, table games, video poker |
| Mobile support | Live chat and email | 24/7 live chat every day, plus email |
| Mobile deposits | Cards, Skrill, Neteller, bank, crypto | Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Neosurf, eZeeWallet, JET, crypto |
| Min mobile deposit | About $30 | $20 ($10 Neosurf or eZeeWallet, $5 Lightning Bitcoin) |
| Security | SSL encrypted | 128-bit SSL, independently tested RNG |
RocketPlay clearly offers more to do on a phone. Fair Go's advantage is friction: Apple Pay and Google Pay from $20 make a mobile deposit a two-tap job, and the 24/7 chat sits right inside the mobile site. If you mostly play pokies on your phone during the commute, that matters more than a 3,600-title menu. Our Fair Go mobile casino guide covers the full experience.
Mobile pokies worth trying at Fair Go
SpinLogic pokies are built for touch screens. Cash Bandits 3 with its vault bonus of up to 390 free games, Plentiful Treasure with eight progressive jackpots, and Kev's Bush Bonanza with the Fortune Link feature all play smoothly in a mobile browser. New pokies land two to three times a month, so the mobile lobby does not go stale.
Responsible gambling
Having a casino one tap away on your phone makes it easy to play more than you intended. Use deposit limits, turn off saved logins if you need a barrier, and keep gambling out of moments when you are tired or upset. You must be 18 or over. Frequently asked questions
No. RocketPlay has no native iOS app because app stores do not permit offshore casino apps for Australian users. You play through Safari by opening the official RocketPlay address, and you can add a home screen shortcut so it behaves like an app.
Not an official one. RocketPlay distributes no APK, so any file claiming to be the RocketPlay Android app is unofficial and potentially harmful. Play through Chrome on the genuine website instead and never sideload a casino APK from a forum or messaging channel.
No. Fair Go is also browser-based on iOS and Android with no download. Its mobile site includes all 280+ SpinLogic pokies, the cashier with Apple Pay and Google Pay from $20, and 24/7 live chat. You can add it to your home screen the same way as RocketPlay.
Yes, provided you are on the genuine site. Both RocketPlay and Fair Go use SSL encryption in the browser, and Fair Go states 128-bit SSL with an independently tested RNG. The real safety risk is fake mirrors or fake apps, not the browser itself.
